Sarah Sadler’s second album produced by her father Gary Sadler delicately weaves together a fusion of pop, country and modern folk to create an album of captivating breezy songs all of a superior quality.

Get Yourself Together kicks off this stunning album. It is a striking opening track that showcases Sarah’s soft dreamlike vocals. This song would not be out of place in the ‘pop’ charts. Reminiscent in style and sound of artists like Andrea Corr, Jewel and Tara Blaise this opening number is a lively, catchy track that begs the listener to hear more from this talented artist.

Pedaling Backwards follows in a similar vain to the opening track. This is a clever song about a failed relationship and how if you ‘pedal backwards’ you might discover where it all went wrong. The chorus is catchy and Sarah’s vocals are quite charismatic and infectious on the listener’s ear.

Runaway has a slightly more country feel about it than the previous two tracks. I am reminded of Faith Hill when listening to this track. Sarah’s vocals lose a little of their dreamlike quality on this song and adopt a much harsher sound.

Dedicated is a catchy track with a punchy chorus. This song is about dedicating a song to someone you love. Many of the songs on this album touch on romance or the break up of relationships.

Old Habits starts off with a crackle reminiscent of putting on an old vinyl record. Great music accompanies this song and gives it a real country feel.

Freedom, written by Sarah Sadler, is another great number, which sees Sarah once again losing her dreamlike vocals swapping them for a much more rocky sound.

Unspoken is a fantastic song that would not sound out of place on a Jewel album. Again this is a much more punchy song with a very addictive and catchy chorus.

Eyes sees the mood quieten down once again. This is a gentle song where Sarah’s vocals are allowed to shine through. This is a song about love and how the eyes can show how much you love a person. Eyes is followed by How Does It Feel, which is another excellent song in a similar vain.

Won’t Take You Down is a lovely song which starts off slow and moves up a notch as it reaches the chorus, Sarah’s voice is delicate and fresh in the verses with a haunting dreamlike quality. In the choruses her voice becomes more rocky and powerful without losing her distinctive style and sound.

Overrated is a song about leaving a relationship ‘independence is overrated’ Sarah sings in this song. This song has a heavy backing yet Sarah’s vocals remain dreamy and soft.

Where Do You Begin is the final track on this fantastic album. This is another slow, dreamy song. The chorus is carefully crafted and Sarah’s vocals are of a high quality once again. As this song ends the listener is left begging to hear more.

This is a knock out album full of great tracks. Each and every one of the twelve tracks on this album are brilliant, there isn’t one track that lets the side down. Sarah’s vocals are mesmerising and distinctive giving the songs an added charm. This album has a particularly fresh summery feel to it and with Sarah’s haunting dreamlike vocals this is a powerful and quite intoxicating combination that will hook listeners from the first track right through to the last.
