Bobby Kirl Bobby Live
Self-released 700261275307
*****
Scrumptious vocals and divine backing music make this album a real musical treat
If you like your country with a dash of rock and Americana then look no further than American singer/songwriter Bobby Kirl, whose music will literally blow you away. With a voice that sounds a lot like Bruce Springsteen’s, but slightly heavier, Bobby’s new album will amaze and dazzle fans of all musical genres. The album opens with Donnie’s Song, which instantly rings of quality and excellent storytelling through magnificent lyrics. Bobby’s vocals are strong and filled with passion and class. Bobby’s vocal style is mesmerising and will soon hook listeners. Time follows on in a similar vain. This song has less musical backing making it more soothing on the listener’s ear. Again the vocals are striking. If I Am To Blame blends rock with country to create a wonderful sound. Bobby’s vocals are gorgeous to listen to. Beautiful Day has an up beat sound and charming vocals. There are hints of John Melloncamp in Bobby’s vocals. Our Love Song is an amazing song with stunning lyrics. This song will grab listeners by the heartstrings and reduce them to tears. Easy Me is another lyrically brilliant song with passion filled atmospheric vocals. Color Of My Heart is another quality song with divine backing music and scrumptious vocals. All The Things I Felt is a fast paced rocky song. At times listening to Bobby Kirl I am reminded of Steve Earle and this is one of those times. She Moves On is a slow song with a touch of Nirvana about the music and lyrical tone. Show It All To You is another charming slow song, which allows Bobby’s vocals to really shine. The final offering on this spectacular album is entitled Sane Thing. This is another fine lyrically driven song with a rousing melody.
