Corine Bogan
Where Do I Go From Here
Self-released

Emotionally charged songs sung with silky smooth vocals
Corine Bogan’s music is sensitive and packed full of emotion. Her songs blend country of a more classical traditional style with a more modern upbeat country sound. Corine expresses a lot through her songs especially her vocals, which are a real pleasure to listen to. Corine’s new album WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE gets started with an up-tempo typically modern country song called Rather Drive. Corine’s vocals are polished and vibrant on this opening number. The title song Where Do I Go From Here is a magical ballad. Corine’s vocals are fragile and sensitive. There are definite hints of Alison Krauss here. Freed My Heart is a quality modern country song. Corine’s vocals are engaging never bland or boring. Melt is a slow paced enigmatic song. Corine’s vocals are delicious and have something of an angelic quality. Incomplete is another great country song. Corine’s voice really suits country music as this song goes to show. Stay Drunk is a rockier country song with a much more modern feel. More Than Anything sees the mood quieten once again. This is another delicate ballad. Corine sounds exquisite. Drifting Towards Heaven is a thoroughly modern up-tempo country song, but here again there are echoes of Alison Krauss in Corine’s vocal style. Beg is a lovely song with a soft harmonious feel. Rest In The Shade is a glorious traditional country song. Once again Corine’s vocals are the highlight. Upping My Standard (So Up Yours) is a fast paced rousing country song. Hear You Me brings the album to a close. This is another slow gentle ballad with a strong traditional vibe running through it. Corine’s voice is beautiful. On slow songs it is silky smooth and on faster upbeat numbers it has just the right amount of tension and punch.
