The Girlfriend
She feels like she is being suffocated
She is trapped unable to break free
She needs to breathe, to come up for air
She needs some space
She wants to spread her wings and fly
She loves him dearly but he is holding her back
She needs to experience life for herself
She needs to make her own mistakes
She wants to try new things experiment a little
She wants to run and keep running
She doesn’t want someone telling her when to stop
She wants to break free from the chains he is holding her by
She wants to be her own person and develop her own personality
She has to be alone for a while
She wants people to notice her as an individual
She wants to make something of herself
She wants to be respected for who she is
She wants to discover hidden talents
She wants to break free of the restrictions of being a couple
She wants to travel and meet new people
She needs to find herself before she can think about settling down
She wants to have fun and go out with girlfriends
She wants to date other men
She needs to discover her inner secrets
She needs time to decide her future
She wants to grow up and not be held back
She is too young to be in a heavy relationship
She doesn’t want to talk about marriage or sex just yet
She wants to live life to the full
The last thing she wants to do is to hurt his feelings or break his heart
She doesn’t want to see him get angry or upset
She just needs to make him understand how she is really feeling
She has to get her problems off of her chest
She has to be honest she owes him that much
She hopes that he will understand and not be mad
She wants them to remain friends
She doesn’t want to cut him out of her life completely
She loves him a lot more than he will ever know
She has to break their relationship off or she will regret it for the rest of her life
She will end up hating him and herself if she doesn’t
Surely it is better to have a friend that you like and trust than a lover that you end up growing to hate and resent?
