Songs with a distinct traditional country feel
Dani Fouts is a twenty-six year old country singer who currently lives in Washington. She started singing around the age of six. Dani carried on singing through high school. Dani wanted to do more with her talents and around one year a go she met with her producer Jay Pinto and produced a short album of country songs. Dani is still working on getting a band together and recording a full album of songs. Three of the songs on Dani’s new album have been put forward for television use. Dani was brought up listening to classic country singers like Patsy Cline and Willie Nelson so it is no wonder that her music tends to have a rather traditional country feel. Sometimes Life Just Goes Right is an infectious slightly humorous song with an up-tempo beat. Country Twang has a distinct old fashioned country sound. We Just Do Our Best is a slow classic country song. Dani pumps a lot of emotion into this heart felt number. Backwoods Fun is a lively fun song with a fast traditional sound. Dani’s vocals are really well suited to fast paced country songs with a traditional feel. I Can Only Dream sees Dani slip into ballad mode once again. This is a really strong ballad, which allows Dani to showcase her emotional, sensitive side. Dani seems to move with ease between slow country songs and upbeat lively songs. You Can’t Tear This Old Girl Down is a heavier song with a rocky edge. The mood appears a lot darker on this more modern sounding country offering. Christmas In The Country is the final song on the album. Dani’s vocals are delicate and fragile sounding, ending the album off on a high note.
