Sophisticated music from a really talented young lady
Elizabeth Reece grew up in the North Georgia Mountains. At eighteen years old BIG TIME STUFF is her debut album release. The songs on this album offer listeners an insight into Elizabeth’s life in a small town. Elizabeth is fondly known as EB by almost everyone she knows. Compared with the likes of top female artists Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, she has a lot to live up to. Runaway is a classy modern country song with strong passionate vocals. There is a touch of Martina McBride in Elizabeth’s vocal style. Easier Now is a highly polished modern song with a slight traditional sound, emphasised by the backing instrumentation. Elizabeth’s vocals are spot on. Big Time Stuff is a bold song and a great title number. One again Elizabeth’s vocals really bring the song to life. Listening to Elizabeth sing you would not think that she is only eighteen, she sounds a lot older and wiser. After You’re Gone is a slower number packed with plenty of emotion. This is a delightful song that really tugs at the heart strings. Jessie Jo is a lively song with a truly modern country feel. Here’s To Us is a powerful slow song full of modern lyrics. Elizabeth’s vocals do share a great deal of similarity on this song with the likes of Carrie Underwood. Let Me Down is another stunning modern song with strong passionate vocals. Elizabeth gives this song her all. Tell Me is another classy up-tempo song with a catchy beat. Elizabeth has a fresh sounding voice that really makes listeners sit up and take notice. Daddy’s Girl is a delightful song that Elizabeth sings with plenty of emotion. Time For Goodbye is an amazing song to end this sophisticated album on. A slow number with a lovely melody. Elizabeth really appears to put her heart and soul into everything she sings. This is a fantastic debut album from a young lady who really does deserve to make it big.
